BROWN ELEMENTARY MARATHON CATS

Brown Elementary Marathon Cats have outdone themselves! In our 8-week running program the fantastically fit students at Brown have logged over 4,348 miles of running laps around our playground field. That is an amazing feat for Kindergartners through 5th graders! A top miler was announced in each grade level with that student winning a trophy and a pedometer. Congratulations Brown Elementary kids! You rock!

CAIN ELEMENTARY FIELD DAY

Cain's Field Day, was held for the entire school (Pre-K through 5th Grade) from 8:30AM-11:30AM. We had 14 different stations that were signaled every 10 minutes by an air horn to rotate. Most of the stations were fun and crazy games for the kids. We had two obstacle courses on the field, as well as some of the traditional type games like "Tug of War" and "Three Legged Race." Some of the games had a new twist to them though, as with our "Egg On A Spoon" we used huge inflatable eggs that were a lot more challenging and less messy!
